The Phonetics Research Group is involved manifold in the undergraduate education at Saarland University.Within the B.Sc. Computational Linguistics phonetic courses can be studied in the context of:
The offering in the B.Sc. Computational Linguistics (major) includes general core courses (e.g. Introduction to phonetics and phonology) and elective courses (e.g. "Proseminare" and "Hauptseminare"). Within the supplementary subject to the B.Sc. degree program in Computational Linguistics the students have free choice of the phonetic courses.
In the B.A. programs of the Faculty of Arts Phonetics and Phonology can be studied as a supplementary subject or as an elective module in the B.A. Language Science program.
