In most cases, UDRSs are constructed in linear time, analogously to the linear time construction of skeleton-modifier representations presented in (Gupta and Lamping, 1998). We show how this encoding can be used in ambiguity preserving, transfer-based machine translation, where it reduces problems with structural misalignment, such as head-switching problem.},
